a) ALL professional Services, support and consultancy and ALL time spent
dealing with clients issues is chargeable, regardless of whether a rate is
quoted or discussed or not.
b) Requests for Service:
Any request to undertake work or solve an
issue is regarded as a contract to engage
AUSTNET’s services.
c) Payment:
For Support Contracts is required prior to work commencing.
d) Service contracts:
are purchased (and paid) in advance with time
being debited as it is used.
e) Rates:
The current rates apply unless
otherwise negotiated (eg for after hours or weekend tasks).
f)
AUSTNET has the right to vary the rates outline
herein.
g) Pilots:
Any system that requires installation as a pilot, test or in
production and any technical support or specialist expertise given from AUSTNET
is
chargeable unless otherwise specifically stated in writing from AUSTNET.
h) Backup & Recovery:
ANY work undertaken on any system involves
a level of risk. It is the Clients responsibility to ensure that there are
suitable DRP procedures that have been tested (including a current backup of
data on which a test restore has been undertaken)

i) Disaster
Recovery:
AUSTNET
use their best efforts and technical expertise and diligence to
recover failed systems, but AUSTNET
does not offer any guarantee of success.
Whether successful or not the customer is liable to pay AUSTNET
for the time and
materials expended with the appropriate penalty rates whether successful or not
in the recovery. PAYMENT WILL BE REQUIRED IN ADVANCE
of completion of the disaster recovery work and amount deemed
appropriate to cover estimated time and materials in that Disaster Recovery
processes. AUSTNET
is not liable for damages or costs should it fail to recover
failed systems
j) Variance:
from any terms, conditions or rates above will only be valid if outlined
in writing by AUSTNET, prior to commencement of services. Debt Recovery
k) AUSTNET
retains the right to take whatever action
necessary to recover debts for goods or services, and retains the right to
withhold supply of services if debts remain unpaid or any conditions are not
met.
l) Sign off:
Client are required to sign off job sheets for all work
undertaken.

m) Disputes or Queries
about work undertaken. Any queries, questions,
or disputes MUST
be outlined on the job sheet prior to sign off if there is to
be any consideration of a discount.
n) Access: Clients are required to provide. engineers with an
appropriate and safe working environment including access to
workstations and the network and parking.
o) Disbursements:
incurred whilst working for a client WILL be charged
including parking costs, couriers, accommodation, equipment, etc.
p) Warranties:
All warranty obligations are carried by manufacturers.
q) Credit:
is NOT offered unless specifically requested and approved in
writing otherwise ALL payments are due C.O.D.
r) Terms And Conditions:
AUSTNET
undertakes all Services and Support
work and supplies goods under its terms and conditions a set of which could be
printed from a PDF file found in this page.
s) GST: applies to all
service and support contracts. Rates quoted exclude GST
